H.F.M. is a Christ Driven & Centered Relief Ministry, that not only aids during a Crisis or Disaster, but focuses on using the opportunity to reach the lost for Jesus Christ.  We search for the Divine opportunities that God presents, in order to show the love, grace, and forgiveness that only comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Hands and Feet Ministry began soon after Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast, in October of 2012.  One of our main focuses has been Saturday trips to New York & New Jersey to aid in the clean up and rebuild of those areas devastated by the storm. Hands and Feet has also deployed to Moore Oklahoma in the wake of the 2013 Tornado's that ravaged that area, along with a deployment to Colorado to aid in the flood relief efforts to those areas impacted by the most recent flooding in 2013.

Luke 15: 3-7 (NIV)

3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

How & Why we Serve

H.F.M. has been serving every Saturday since November 2012, directly after Hurricane Sandy spread violently up the East Coast.  We have been blessed to partner with over 10 organizations, and are thankful to have been able to serve more families, and individuals than we can count.  Our mission is to reach the lost sheep of this world for Jesus Christ.  We do that in service not by our physical works, but by our Actions, Words, Compassion, and the Love that we share to all those that we meet.  We may spend the day listening to folks that just need an ear to hear, or a shoulder to cry on.  It may be passers by that we can talk to, and begin to plant the seed of redemption that only Christ can offer.  There are so many testimonies of those that have been impacted, not just by our actions, but by those of many other people that we have met or served with.

The physical work is the vessel that brings us to the hurting and lost people in this world.  Whatever has happened in there life to cause such pain, grief, and sadness is unique to them, and is there Crisis or Disaster at that time & moment.  Many a trip has been spent helping those indirectly impacted by someone else's Crisis or Disaster.  There are so many opportunities to meet and listen to passer by's, neighbors, friends, and many other folks that happen to be near or around us at the time we are Serving.  It is our job to listen graciously, be kind & patient, and to allow our Actions to speak to the hearts of those we are with during this time.  We are called to be different, and set apart from this world through our Salvation that comes from Jesus Christ....  And that friends is what we strive to do each and every time we deploy!  We want others to want to know what it is that we have, and how they can become a part of that true Love that can be found in the Father.

Galatians 2: 19-21

19 “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”[e]

2 Corinthians 5: 17

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here!
